LEGO Table and Magazine Rack

LEGO Table is a private commissioned work. The goal was to design and fabricate three office work tables which based on utilizing giant plastic Lego units. The tables were designed and made in Feb. 2018. The table was made of veneered MDF, veneered plywood and white oak solid wood. Lego units are designed to be staggered to each other, and wooden covers are placed on exposed Lego keys, therefore each of cover's surface becomes a shelf which increases the usability of the table.

Magazine Rack was made of veneered MDF, white oak solid wood, and aluminum extrusion.

Design Hub is a group project which has been designed and fabricated based on the given topic "Mobility"within 4 intensive and consecutive days by a group of people who are being randomly picked from furniture, ceramic, textile, glass and industrial design studios in Sheridan College Crafts and Design Program. 

Design Hub is to create a group study environment mainly for craft people and designers. It is designed so that small community is easily mobilized, by gathering people together and exchanging ideas and knowledges. The hub includes four stools and one design table. Users can draw, write or anything they want to express their thoughts on the table top with markers, which contains two large white boards for extra surface if desired. Power outlet is added under the table for easy access. The hub is designed for all sorts of environments. While not in use, all stools could be tucked under the table to save space if needed.

Seeking is a group project which has been designed and fabricated based on the given topic "Shelter" within 4 intensive and consecutive days by a group of people who are being randomly picked from furniture, ceramic, textile, glass and industrial design studios in Sheridan College Crafts and Design Program. 

Seeking is an art installation, it is presenting the nature of shelter is to lead one to a place of warmth, peace, and happiness from the elements of nature or harsh realities of life. The journey of seeking the shelter is a beacon of hope and may lead one to a false sense of security.
